Come join us for an evening cocktail class at Botanica where we’ll talk about cocktail history, terminology and bartending techniques followed by creating (and drinking!) them. This 2 hour class will feature individual bartending stations allowing you to have a hands on experience stirring, shaking and mixing featuring Widow Jane products. Sazeracs will be distributed as a welcome cocktail and snacks will be provided during this event. All tools and liquor will be supplied. Cocktails you'll create include a Manhattan, Whiskey Sour, and Margarita

Widow Jane Paint + Sip

Join us in our bar for an evening painting class designed for painting and drawing of all skill levels. Have a hot buttered Widow Jane Bourbon Cocktail and draw or paint a whiskey-inspired still life set up in the middle of the bar. Mid-way through, you’ll receive a Widow Jane Whiskey Flight featuring our 10 year bourbon, American Oak Aged Rye, and our Applewood Rye. And upon leaving, everyone will receive a Widow Jane rocks glass as well as your canvas. All art supplies are included, but feel free to bring your own. No previous drawing or painting experience required

Blend Your Own Bourbon

Wednesday, February 19, 2020 6:00 - 8:00 PM

Explore the technique of blending with this workshop where you will be handed a variety of cask strength whiskeys freshly drilled from the barrel and asked to combine them to create your own unique blends from various sources of 10 Year Bourbon. Each guest will make 6 custom 50 milliliter bottles, each with a drop of our Rosendale Limestone water, and be set up with a placemat of tools to do so. Leave with a gift bag of t-shirt and tasting glass, and enjoy a spread of simple appetizers as you drink a blend of whiskeys that is truly custom to your preference. 10 Year Bourbon samples will include sources from Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee along with some 10 Year finished in unique barrels from Zak's Cooperage. Finish your perfect blends with a Widow Jane winter closing cocktails.
